Hello Leon: I enjoyed reading your newletter and it was so funny to read about the "Seven Degrees of Blonde" (Humor) I often think about the things that you taught me in the training class about networking. I think about how you started out and what motivated you to continue on your journey. You are a brilliant man and I wish you the best in your endeavors. AND THE NEXT TIME TIME SOMEONE MENTIONS NETWORKING TO ME, I CAN APPLY YOUR IDEAS AND CONCEPTS INTO THE CONVERSATION. ALSO THE BLOND JOKES WERE HILARIOUS, I REALLY ENJOYED THEM.LEON I ALSO TOO A GOOD LOOK AT YOUR NEW WEB PAGE, IT WAS INTERESTING ALSO EYE CATCHING. ENJOYED READING ABOUT YOU AND YOUR COLLEGUES.

I attended your talk yesterday at the Town and Country and purchased your book and CD's Your book "Five Steps to academic Success" is very easy to read and implement. I read it this morning. I have read other books on this topic and found them to be too wordy and long that I lost focus and could not finish the book let alone apply the concepts. Students want simple, easy to follow how to steps they can apply now. Your book is by far the easiest to read and apply immediately. Very powerful combination. I especially like the workbook format. I am going to suggest it to my students on Monday. There is a wealth of information and recourses that pertain to my students lives today. And yet it is short enough to read in one sitting. Thank you so much for writing this book. I know that it will touch many of my students who really need a recourse like this. This will most likely be the best $15 they spend their entire college career. I teach at 4 locations, and I have been a freeway flier for years. In the past 5 years I have noticed that each year with the newest batch of students coming out of the local high schools. They are less prepared for college life than the year before. Our secondary education system does not prepare students for college life and I spend a lot of lecture time going over study skills, goal setting, action plans, study buddies, and asking them where do they want to be in 5 years. Most of them just shrug their shoulders. I find that it is the older returning students that do well because they have goals. The younger bunch are going with the flow. Your book will save me a lot of lecture time I intended to spend on covering materials in the class. But without the study skills, covering topics in lecture won't sink in unless they know how to learn. I will check into whether I can have this added to my text book list for my Community College classes as they are most in need of this.

First and formost I will say that I am so pleased to see a positive site on the internet. Secondly, I think it is wonderful what you are doing. I can honestly be a spokesperson for the strength in laughter....a husband of 8 years walks out on myself and my 4 children, shortly within 3 months time, I buried all four of my grand parents, and my god mother. Laughter was a large part of my strength. Funny how God uses a smile.

Thank you for making a way for me to view your news letter. I have a heart desire for spreading my fashions and Designs of clothing as my part time job. But the night before i had an experience with my full-time job that required my throught of reason of making someone else money and motivating them (my full-time job) or making my self money and motivating myself with the upmost of my Dreams and desires. At the moments of tears i received your letter. With a glance of briefly reading it ,it touched home and before i knew it my tears dried up and i desided that "faith whispers in the heart of every dreams" For the year of 2000 things with me will change and they have.
